Computle Feature Preview: Patch Management, Software Deployment, and Machine Provisioning
Computle exists to make the provisioning of workstations easier. We removed the burden of hardware management — but hardware is only half the story. The other half is everything that happens after the machine powers on. The setup, the software, the updates. For most organisations, that's still a manual, time-consuming process spread across multiple expensive tools. To change this, we are releasing three new complimentary features: Patch management, software deployment, and machine provisioning.
Machine Provisioning: Zero-Touch Setup
When a new Computle workstation powers on for the first time, it configures itself. Hostname, network, domain join, drivers, remote desktop — all handled automatically, without an engineer touching it. What used to take hours per machine now takes minutes.
And it doesn't stop after day one. Our provisioning agent runs a nightly check to make sure everything is still configured correctly. If something has drifted, it's automatically corrected. From the portal, you can see every machine's status at a glance — what's complete, what's in progress, and anything that needs attention.

Patch Management: Know What's Missing, Fix It in One Click
Which machines are missing critical Windows updates? Which ones are waiting for a reboot?
Every Computle workstation scans for available patches and reports back to the platform with the severity rating from Microsoft. You get a clear dashboard showing your entire estate — total machines, what's online, what's missing, and what's critical.
When you're ready to act, you can scan all machines, approve all updates, or target specific patches — all from the portal. The rest is handled automatically.

Software Deployment: One-Click, No Licensing Fees
Upload your installers to a centralised catalogue, select the machines, and deploy. EXE, MSI, PowerShell scripts, batch files — whatever your team needs. Every deployment is tracked with full logs so you can see exactly what happened.
For more involved setups, you can create ordered deployment sequences — install a runtime, wait, then install the application that depends on it. Define it once, deploy it anywhere.

Free for Computle Customers
All three capabilities — Packtle Push, Packtle Patch, and Packtle Provision — are included at no additional cost for every Computle customer. No per-seat licensing. No deployment charges.
