Introducing Computle Broker: Our Free Add-On
At Computle, we provide high-performance workstations accessed through our innovative end user hardware, or our application.
To improve how our customers connect, we have developed Computle Broker; our free addon which provides a similar service to off-the-shelf brokering services, such as LeoStream or VMWare Horizon.
In this product briefing, we will provide an overview of the product features and our roadmap for future releases.
Broker Agent
Each Computle machine is supplied with our brokering agent. This agent is responsible for dynamic machine assignment based on the device's hostname and the assigned user.
Assignment Manager
Administrators can access a simple interface where they can assign machines. Within here, they can also browse previous versions of the assignments and restore previous versions where required.
Computle Client
Connecting to your assigned machine is easy. Simply install our new Computle Client, enter your username, and your assigned machine is automatically presented.
Availability
Computle Broker is available free of charge to Computle customers.
Roadmap
We are exploring how to integrate our existing free VPN solution (Computle Gateway) into the Computle Client. As part of this integration, we are also exploring how we can provide SSO based connectivity and where possible, VPN-MFA. For now, users without their own VPN infrastructure are advised to continue their use of Computle Gateway.
