LONDON, UK – August 5th, 2025 - UK-based subscription workstation platform Computle has secured a pre-seed £500k growth investment from technology veteran, Mark Boost, for a minority stake, bringing total lifetime funding to £700k. The strategic funding will accelerate Computle's mission to provide creative, architecture, and engineering teams with high-performance remote workstations, delivered as a seamless, end-to-end service.
Founded in 2020 by technology architect, Jake Elsley, Computle has experienced rapid adoption among leading AEC and animation companies with users across the UK, Europe and America achieving 30-50% cost reductions when compared to alternative solutions. Computle’s workstation service has powered teams behind major television shows, national infrastructure projects, and award-winning designs.
Mark Boost - known for founding and operating several industry-leading businesses, including Civo, ServerChoice, and Defense.com - brings deep experience building scalable infrastructures. His track record of growing cloud-native businesses aligns perfectly with Computle's engineering-driven culture.
"Computle is tackling a real challenge with impressive ingenuity,” says Mark. “They’re empowering high-performance users - architects, VFX professionals, and engineers - with the speed, power, and seamless experience that’s long been lacking in the cloud. I’m thrilled to support them as they scale and shape the future of cloud computing.”
Customers can easily build their ideal workstation using Computle’s intuitive configuration tool. Workstations are accessed via Computle’s proprietary dual-4K ready device or through our Windows/MacOS app. Starting at just £79/month, users can mix and match components - from Intel to AMD Threadripper CPUs, and RTX A400 to RTX 5090 GPUs - to fit their exact needs. Each workstation is deployable across Computle’s global regions, including London, New York, Hong Kong, Sydney, Dubai, and Singapore, delivering peak performance wherever users are based.
“Mark instantly recognised the future we’re building,” said Jake Elsley, Founder and CEO of Computle. “His deep insight into modern infrastructure and strategic backing accelerates our mission to reshape how the AEC industry works. With his support, Computle will expand its global footprint - empowering companies to access world-class performance from anywhere. Together, we’re enabling a new standard of boundaryless creativity and collaboration that is effortless, scalable, and maintenance-free.”
