Preliminary Note: Anthropic’s Mythos Tool and Computle

This evening, Anthropic released a public version of Mythos – a tool designed to detect and exploit vulnerabilities.

To ensure the safety of our customers, Computle used this tool to proactively perform a code review of our public facing services, and as a result, we have applied three emergency patches.

Automated and manual tests have been performed following the change and no adverse results have been identified. 

There is no evidence that these previously unknown vulnerabilities have been exploited, and access to our private code repositories would have been required to identify these.

We will continue to monitor the emergence of automated technologies along with our regular code reviews and penetration tests.
